Every now and then I participate in the weekly challenge at Drawspace.com. I thought I would share this one here because it is one of those rare occassions where I draw something in color. You might want to pay them a visit. It's free and they have many free lessons.
I
like using color but as you may have noticed from my gallery, I prefer
graphite. So every now and again it is always fun to dust off my Caran
d'Ache Surpracolor II soft color pencils.
This drawing is on an
A3 size piece of 220 gsm bright white paper.
I used 7 pencils :
yellow (240) sky blue (161) light green (230) dark green (210) purple
(120) brown (59) black and white for blending.
The drawing took
around 5 hours to finish.
