I'm enjoying drawing landscapes in the 70cm by 50cm format. This is my third project with this size. The first one was "Modern Times" then I did the "Wood Island Light". Now I'm working on a super view of the Catherdral and Chateau in Lausanne.

The reference is looking in the direction of the South Tower from a point above Lausanne near the park of Sauvabelin. If you want to see this view you should walk across the street and walk down the path leading to the Chalet restaurant. Keep on going in that direction and you should come to a viewing platform.

The highest point in the background is Mont Billiat (1894 meters) in France.

The drawing will take around 70 hours to draw. Stay tuned for the finished work.
